In 1958, with the continued support of the Scarborough Recreation and Parks Department, the Squadron move

d to 24 Civic Road. With the help of the parents and cadets, as well as the members of the newly formed Scarborough Sea Cadet Corps, the building was refurbished. 631 Sentinel Squadron opened branches at Winston Churchill Collegiate and Cedarbrae Collegiate. In 1964, the Squadron started the renovation of its new home, a former car dealership; it was called the Mid-Scarborough Youth Centre.
