The floods that claimed the lives of our people in Umtata came as a shock and pain to many who have lost their loved ones and have left wounds in their hearts. Psalms 34:18 The Bible tells us that God is closer to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed. God is there ready to heal and bring comfort to your broken heart. You only need to open your heart and receive His help by asking the Lord Jesus to come into your life as He is the only way by which we can reach God. Invite Him into your heart today, and He will help you.

NOT ALL RIVERS ARE BAD

"Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations."

There will come a time when God will heal all the nations of the earth who have sought Him. Jesus said: "I am the Truth, the Way and the Life". He also said: "Anyone who comes to Me, I will in no way cast out".

Have you been cast out of your home because of floods in South Africa? Know that God will in no way cast you out if only you will repent from your sin and receive His love by accepting His forgiveness. Why don't you do that right now? Who knows what will come next upon the earth. 🛐

Let Us be Comforted Children of the Most High - There is still a Yonder.

Matthew 2:18 (NKJV) "A VOICE WAS HEARD IN RAMAH, LAMENTATION, WEEPING, AND GREAT MOURNING, RACHEL WEEPING FOR HER CHILDREN, REFUSING TO BE COMFORTED, BECAUSE THEY ARE NO MORE."

Your Mother of Old wept just as we are doing today😭!

However, Our Lord Jesus Christ is saying to us:

Hebrews 13:5b - 6 (AMPC) ... for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] [Josh. 1:5.]
6. So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? [Ps. 27:1;118:6.]

Well, it is a pity to be in your country, but living as a stranger, It's a pity to be a son and daughter of the soil, but no confidence to dwell there. For our family and friends in Benue, may God give you a better country, whose builder and maker is God (Hebrews 11:13 - 16, a country where there are no herdsmen, no bandits.

Our Beloved people in Benue State
We feel your pain at this time of sorrow. Our feeble words cannot fix this irreparable loss, but there is someone closer to you than any other person. He is the Lord Jesus, He is willing to heal you if you will trust Him. The dead have no hope, but the living have hope. Why not open your heart for Him to come in?

(Isaiah 40:1 "Comfort, yes, comfort My people!" Says your God. 51:12a I, even I, am He who comforts you)

BENUE, WE WEEP WITH YOU

The Lord, will wipe away our tears. It is so sad to see the lives of innocent people being killed on a daily basis. Now since all of us are foreigners here on earth, it is better for us to be ready at all times by making sure that we hand over our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the only one who has security for our lives here on earth and in heaven. So let's prepare ourselves so that Revelation 21:4 will play out in our lives: "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
