So glad we could work with Salma Zaid's team this year. Last weekend, we have been able to support her Community BBQ sustainability goals by implementing a sorting station and open a conversation with the city of Toronto about organic waste management in public parks. Thank you Vilina for coordinating our Eco Team Program this summer!

Thank you for joining Scarborough Zero Waste as a program coordinator this summer.
We are thrilled to benefit from your expertise in psychology and environmental studies as you help us develop the "Eco Leader" program. Thanks to you, we now do have the capacity to reach out to more community groups in Scarborough in hopes of promoting community-based waste reduction strategies.

Scarborough Zero Waste was delighted to join the Malvern community at the Midsummer Fête! 🌿☀️
Through hands-on upcycling activities, children and families transformed discarded materials into colourful creations while learning how reuse can help reduce waste. It was wonderful to connect, create, and share practical ideas for living more sustainably.
Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by our table and made the afternoon so memorable! 💚
