Weekly workshops, with one-on-one mentoring, enable women to develop skills in personal growth, managing finances, and parenting better. is a ministry that reaches out to moms in the Rexdale community who feel disadvantaged, alone and overwhelmed by life. We welcome all faith and ethnic backgrounds! This program assists women to:
• Connect with other women and support systems in the commu
nity;
• Grow in their parenting and life skills; and
• Thrive as women and mothers who can contribute meaningfully to the larger society. What makes Women Arise! unique? The combination of relevant, life skills workshops together with personal mentoring makes Moms Arise! a powerful and meaningful program. A dedicated team of staff and volunteers commit their time weekly to supporting and guiding the moms as they explore the risks of applying new skills in their lives and making different choices. A children's program is also offered where a team of trained child-care workers complete and supervise activities with the children in a safe, child-friendly environment. When is Women Arise!?
