The Scarborough Campus Punjabi Association (SCPA) is a non-profit, student run organization committed to helping build long-lasting social relations among the members of the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) community. Marking the group with the title of Punjabi in no way limits it to any single geo-political ideology, socio-ethnic heritage, nor religio-cultural tradition. Instead we invoke

the spirit of multi-nationalism that characterizes the pluralistic spirit of the Punjabi community here at UofT, in Canada, and abroad! The young, energetic members of SCPA come from diverse physical, academic, and socio-cultural backgrounds, each bringing to us their determination and diligence that we hope to actualize into meaningful events here at UTSC and within the Toronto community. We hope to contribute to the strong sense of community here at UTSC by fulfilling the following resolutions:

1. Facilitating vibrant and healthy interactions between SCPA and non-members on campus.

3. Encourage academic excellence through inter/intra-cultural competency between self-identifying Punjabi and non-Punjabi students.

4. Contribute immensely to socio-cultural activities and events happening on campus throughout the academic year by the sharing of various features which constitute the richness of the Punjabi identity.

5. Raise awareness about the historical narratives which contribute to the formulation of the Punjabi identity as claimed by the members of SCPA.
