A new Japanese whisky that we’ve found called Kaigan Whisky. It’s unique blend of 100% Japanese Whisky and comes from the Kami region of the south, its closest major city is Okayama (2 hours away). Nestled near Mount Mikuni, the area is best known for its fresh spring water which comes from the Sugihara river (one of the cleanest water sources in Japan). Having been aged for a minimum of three years, the whisky is full of fresh oak and a variety of citrus fruits. The palate is sweet with honey and spiced vanilla flavors that result in a long, rich, bold finish.
