We are so thrilled to welcome back, our MC for the 2025 Terry Fox Run, Gurdeep Ahluwalia!

Gurdeep Ahluwalia is an award-winning Canadian media personality from Toronto and the host of “The Pooja and Gurdeep Show” on 98.1 CHFI. He’s also a regular on Breakfast Television and Cityline. He previously fronted CP24 Breakfast and worked as a National Network anchor on TSN’s SportsCentre. His career highlights include covering the 2019 NBA Finals and championship parade for the Toronto Raptors. In his spare time, Ahluwalia mostly hangs out with his six-year-old cockapoo named Coffee. He also spends a lot of time with his family, brother, sister-in-law and three nephews.

Outside of media, Ahluwalia is actively involved with numerous charities including an Ambassadorial role with World Animal Protection. He is the face of the “Gurdeep Ahluwalia Putt for Pups Invitational” annual Golf Tournament in support of Team Dog Rescue. He also gives time to Sick Kids Hospital, Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation and Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre – amongst others.

Olivia Baldini is a powerhouse of purpose—a 30-year-old spin instructor and legal manager specializing in personal injury law. With a rare blend of grit and grace, she channels her passion for movement and justice into everything she does. Whether she’s leading a high-intensity fitness class or advocating for clients, Olivia brings unmatched energy, empathy, and drive.

Her approach to fitness spans the spectrum—from sweat-drenched cardio to mindful mobility—reflecting her belief that strength is as much mental as it is physical. Outside of work and workouts, Olivia is a globe-trotter at heart. She’s always chasing her next adventure, fueled by a love for connection, exploration, and pushing past limits.

We are so pleased to welcome back this year’s national anthem singer, Gabriella Reyes!

Gabriella Reyes is a 16-year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Toronto, Canada. Driven by her passion for music, she finds joy in writing songs and live performing and hopes to use her talents to inspire younger generations.

From performing for the Toronto Marlies and Raptors 905, to singing acoustic to her family and friends, she loves connecting with others through music, using it to influence and uplift others. she is also a young entrepreneur, working on projects from technology to digital design aimed at making a positive impact on the world.

We look forward to having Gabriella back at Wilket Creek Park and can’t wait to see you all there! If you have yet to register, there is a link in our bio.

Introducing our Terry’s Team Member for 2025, Owen McDonald!

Owen is an 18-year-old university student and cancer survivor with a passion for volleyball, music, and gaming. Diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma shortly after his 16th birthday, Owen faced one of life’s toughest challenges head-on, undergoing an aggressive chemotherapy and medication regimen over five months, guided by the dedicated care of his oncology teams at SickKids and Rouge Valley Hospital.

With the support of his family, friends, and loyal dog Ronald, Owen remained positive and determined—drawing strength from his hero, Terry Fox. Now, approaching his three-year anniversary of being cancer-free and inspired by Terry’s resilience, Owen is committed to using his journey to remind others that no challenge is too great when you refuse to give up.

Owen is proud to serve as the Terry’s Team member at Wilket Creek Park this year in this year’s 45th Terry Fox Marathon of Hope.
