Hi friends!

We have partnered with St. James Town Community Corner (STJCC) to provide UofT students volunteering opportunities. They are a local non-profit organization that serves the diverse neighborhood in St. James Town. A few things of the wide variety of services they provide are employment counseling, daycare, and afterschool programs.

Currently, STJCC is building a tools library to lend out home appliances and equipment to the neighborhood. They are looking for volunteers to help out with that by categorizing and arranging the appliances, and to help out with making the catalog for the tools.

Hey Guys!

Our blessing bag event is now only a week away!

We are still accepting any donations consisting of;

-Gift cards to grocery stores or food chains
-Toiletries
-Non-perishable food items

The event will be held at the Multi-faith Centre (in the Quiet Room on the third floor) at 9am-12pm on Feb 1st, 2019.

Anyone wishing to volunteer, can simply show up at the designated location and time! We will be bagging the donations, which will later be distributed to Horizons for Youth!

Hey Guys,

BWeC will be having our Blessing Bag event this coming February 1st! In order to carry through with the event, we are asking for any donations of which include;

- Gift cards to grocery stores or food chains
- Toiletries
- Non - perishable food items

With your donations, BWeC and several volunteers will put together bags containing these essential items. These bags will later be distributed to shelters for the homeless.

Help make a direct impact to those in need by donating what you can, every bit helps!

Our mission is to provide members at the University of Toronto opportunities to engage in volunteering activities and become involved in addressing various issues relevant to our community.

Want to spread some holiday cheer and make Christmas just that much more exciting for less fortunate children?

BWeC will be hosting a Toy Drive this Christmas season in partnership with the East End Children's Centre up until December 20th to do just that!

Anyone interested in donating toys can contact BWeC to arrange a meet up to drop off any donations!

Hey Guys!

Just a reminder that BWeC and OSP will be having our Fundraising Brunch Tomorrow, October 25, at 10am-1pm. Location will be at 33 St George St, Toronto, ON M5S 1A4!

We will be serving breakfast including: pancakes, waffles and much more!

Entrance fee is $5, or whatever you can afford.

All donations go towards Orphan Scholarships as well.

Hope to see you all there!
