💗Be kind to your heart💗World Heart Day. WOW…Did you know our heart beats about 115,000 times in a day? Amazing right? Finding activities to keep our heart healthy is a number one priority. 🚲 With all the stress we undergo sometimes it can fall behind. On World Heart Day, let’s be mindful of our lifestyle and take the steps necessary to stay healthy for you and the little ones who need us, and see us as their role model. ❤️💛Celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day💛❤️ Today is especially the day to educate children on the Indigenous peoples groups -the Inuit, First Nations and Metis- in Canada, recognizing and celebrating their beautiful and unique culture and traditions.
Sadly, “over 50% of all Indigenous children live below poverty on reservation land.” [aptn.ca national news]. We have much to do to help the healing. There are many charities that help provide assistance to these communities. [ link: https://truenorthaid.ca/first-nations-charities-html/ ]
To learn and teach our children about the native communities and their culture, gives them the due respect they deserve [please see link below to make it easier. :)
5 Ways to Learn About Canada's Indigenous Cultures:
1. Connecting with your school's Aboriginal Services.
2. Going to your city's Native Canadian Centre.
3. Attending an annual pow wow.
4. Celebrating National Aboriginal Day.
5. Reading online resources on Indigenous culture.

It is crucial that we are always conscious of our actions, as our actions can have serious repercussions. We can consciously change that into actions of respect, peace and love💜

Human-Kind: be both💖 Expressing our human-ness. It makes a difference in your life, your family’s, your children’s, your community, your country, the whole planet! With Earth Day tomorrow, the more kind conscious we are with our thoughts, actions, and each other, the better we all will be. Kindness is the foundation of who we are, really. Sometimes with the situations we experience it may not feel that way, but when you really think about it and ask, How do I want to feel? Would you not agree that happy is one of the top free. Kindness make that happens. Mucho kindness and blessings. 💖🤗

Teaching Children to Save Day 💚💖 🌲It’s never too soon to teach kids to save. It’s a fantastic way to build self-esteem. a sense of responsibility, and work towards goals. Here are some amazing benefits and ways to do so:

*Early Bird. When you start early they are more likely to develop good money habits as grow older.
*Piggy Bank. Using a traditional piggy banks make it fun for them to watch their savings grow. Encourage dropping in coins and bills when time they receive money to empower them.
*Goals. Setting goals helps children save for something they want such as a toy or even a trip to Disneyland! It will help them understand the concept of delayed gratification.
*Reward. Rewarding them when they reach milestones tickle their hearts and improves their confidence.
*Role Model. Cannot emphasize enough the role model as kids learn by example. If you save well, they will follow in stride.
* Allowances. Giving children an allowance is a great way to teach them about budgeting and saving. “Encourage them to divide their allowance into different jars, one for spending, one for saving, and one for donating to a charity.”
*Open a Savings Account. Reaching a milestone, opening a savings account can teach them about earning interest on savings.
Let them learn at their own pace, as they build their confidence learning goal setting and empowering them with achieving them.

⭐️💙 How about a nap? 💙⭐️😴 With daylight savings time it sure can be difficult adjusting losing that one hour, at least for me.
A Boston University professor, Dr. William Anthony realized that with the clock changing it’s especially important to make up for it, with a quick nap, to benefit your health, increase your happiness, and productivity too! For the whole family, including family pets! Flip to the next image as it shows the amount of sleep/nap hours little ones need.
As we all know, a good night’s sleep does wonders, but babies and children need much more. Equally as important, as hard as it may be, is keeping parent’s sleep health up to par, to manage your life with clarity, energy and balance. Although 7-9 hours is the healthy average, as a new parent that may be challenging.
Here are some parent tips:
*nap when your baby/child naps to help you recharge
*be comfortable saying no to loved ones who want to see your baby
*create a good sleep environment and bedtime routine [ex. quiet, cool, dark place, share baby attention with partner]
*ask for help when you are in need of sleep!
Happy Napping!
