South Riverdale Child-Parent Centre The South Riverdale Child Parent Centre (SRCPC) offers a free resource program for parents, caregivers and children to play, learn and grow.

The South Riverdale Child Parent Centre (SRCPC) runs a family resource program designed to meet the needs of individuals caring for young children ages 0-6. These include a daily drop-in program, outings, workshops, a clothing exchange, and a toy library. All of our programs are free.We are a non-profit organization governed by a board of volunteers from the local community.

Join us at Joel Weeks Playground (10 Thompson St) where we’ll be playing in the splashpad and playground, with a special Music and Movement class with Spotlight Dance Arts! Dress for water play and bring your sunscreen!

is a new dance studio in the neighbourhood (2 Strange st), open for registration for the 2026/2027 Dance Season! We are so excited to host a ‘Music and Movement’ class in the park, our program will be a wonderful introductory class for your child to explore their love of movement! Our program incorporates Creative Movement themes that capture your child’s imagination. We use a variety of props and music that will delight them! Our curriculum incorporates pre-primary Ballet skills that are an excellent foundation for any dance style, as we focus on musicality, creativity, and coordination. The dancers will begin learning dance steps in a fun and nurturing way, using magic and imagination!

Say hi (again!) to our Summer Program Assistant Clara!

She joins us as part of the Canada Summer Jobs Initiative and will be with us Monday - Friday until July.

Clara has vast experience working in daycares in the East end and was an au pair in Belgium! She has finished her BA in special education and is looking forward to learning alongside all of the kids!

She also loves her 2 cats and can play the ukelele! 🐱😊
