CAI’s primary objectives are:

• Community engagement—CAI involves the community’s youth and professionals in development and networking opportunities that help enhance their leadership abilities and overall civic engagement. This includes professional development conferences, internships, mentorships, networking opportunities, role-modeling, and campus-based capacity building. These activities

seek to increase the employability and career prospects of its participants while developing their civic leadership.

• Research—CAI provides insight and recommendations for the benefit of policy makers, service providers, the media and civil society

• Education—Part of our work aims to educate Canadians about Canadian Arab culture, heritage, and contributions to society. These cultural and educational efforts range from lectures, panels and conferences to museum exhibits, art displays, and musical and dance performances.
