Students for International Development is a not-for-profit organization that provides summer volunteer placements in rural Kenya. The organization aims to:
1) provide students with an opportunity to understand and contribute to the reduction of poverty in the global south; and,
2) foster leadership, personal development, commitment, competence, independence and critical thinking in our volunteers

with the hope that they will be better equipped and motivated to work against global inequities. In 2013, we registered our sister charity Partners for International Development (PfID).
