EAG Members, Helen and Rosemary, were a long way from their home turf this week. They shared digs in Haliburton with other instructors for a busy and exciting time teaching art at the Haliburton School of Art and Design.
Helen taught Soft Pastels and Mixed Media, and Rosemary led an intensive course in Acrylics and Collage - 2D & 3D Investigations.
A good time was had by all!

It was a perfect day yesterday for our Neilson Park Creative Centre Creative Festival. Live music, artisans, a Plein Air Competition, and lots of happy members strutting their stuff in Studio A.
EAG Members Paul and Helen McCusker, and Liisa Rahkola shared their work, and brought art-making supplies for visitors to make collage and pop up cards. A fun and busy day with lots of great activities with the resident groups.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat and work with us.
And an even bigger thank you to the wonderful staff at Neilson who made it all happen!

Studio B welcomed a visitor this week. Knuckles McNeebone wandered in from its long-time berth in the HVAC storage closet. It said it was feeling boxed in and expressed a wish to possibly do some modeling... maybe get back into circulation after a long hiatus.
Knuckles enjoyed observing our members busy in artistic pursuits from its lofty perch. We wish them all the best for the future.

A happy buzz today in Studio B as members bonded over an excellent Potluck Lunch, and Art Cards. It was great to see so many old and new members together!

Congratulations to our EAG members - Alice Berloni, Susan Dain, Valeriejane Geard, Mira Martinez, and Cherie Rahkola for getting their artwork juried into Neilson Park’s IMPACT2026 exhibition. Well done!

The music was rocking and things were hopping at Neilson Park Creative Centre 's Pride Night tonight!
All the Resident Groups brought their talents and fun activities to share with the many guests who came together to celebrate Pride. The Etobicoke Art Group table did Artists' trading Cards - as you can see, there was a colourful array of beautiful cards. Thanks to all who participated. It made for a fun evening.
