Just wanted to pass along that as a result of the forecast of heavy showers and cold for Saturday, we've pushed the sale back to our rain date of Saturday May 30th. We look forward to seeing you there for great deals, plus a BBQ and bar!

We're less than a week away from our annual Health Fair. We have a great bunch of service providers lined up and ready to show you what they have to offer!

We also have two great speakers. This year's theme is "Caring for Caregivers". So often those who are providing support for a loved one often struggle to meet their own needs, or don't even seek out supports in the community. Our two presentations will focus around self-support, finding outlets and coping strategies, along with various supports in the community to help you. We feel strongly that there are so many in the community who can benefit from this, and look forward to sharing with you.

This month brings back one of our truly essential events. Our annual Seniors Health Fair is on Wednesday, March 25th from 11am to 3pm. The theme for this year is "Caring for Caregivers" and tickets are $2. As always, the event includes a trade show and informative talks. Be sure to come by the office to pick them up as the event generally sells out.

If you are not busy and interested in helping we are in search of anyone available to come in this Saturday and help with our Spa Day event. We are looking for people willing to come in and do nail polish removal and applications for our seniors for the event which runs between 11am and 5pm. We would greatly appreciate your help and would feed you well throughout the day. If you are available and interested, please shoot an email to [email protected].

Program Advisory
Due to a last minute scheduling conflict with one of our service providers, we have had to postpone our Spa Day event. We are currently finalizing the new date, tentatively February 28th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Anyone who had a ticket to the original event for whom this is a conflict, we will of course offer full refunds to.

If you were looking to spend your Valentine's Day with us, we are proposing an alternative. We are looking into the viability of a Valentine's Day Brunch. It would be a $10 event and feature a continental breakfast, quiche, fresh fruit, pastries and more. If you are interested, please let us know by end of day Wednesday as we are looking to assess the viability.

We apologize again for the confusion, and look forward to seeing you at the Centre soon!
