Out in the Kitchen Various dishes will be demonstrated by Emily McKenzie, the Food Skills Coordinator at the Regent Park Community Food Centre.

Egale is joining forces with CRC to host “Out in the Kitchen” a Community Kitchen for LGBTQS2+ youth to learn how to make healthy and nutritious meals, and mingle with one another. All LGBTQS2+ youth are welcome. “Out in the Kitchen” starts Tuesday, January 13 at 5pm to 8pm each Tuesday until Tuesday, March 17. Each week the youth will cook a meal of choice. na. We will also have activities, workshops, music and or talks. This event is intended to provide skills and information to LGBTQS2+ youth around cooking, food safety, and food security. Youth may be able to obtain their food handler certificate through this program.
