We are just days away from our final concert! Since Dr. Bowen Li will be performing the iconic "Pathétique" Sonata on May 24th, we wanted to share this look at his interpretation of Beethoven’s "Waldstein".

Why a ball at a music lesson? 🏀🎹

If you walked into a BCA lesson and saw our Director, Dr. Koh, tossing a ball, you might think you were in the wrong room.

But there’s a scientific reason for the play.

In our Keyboard Games (KBG) program, we don’t start with "sitting still." We start with movement.

The ball helps the body "catch" the rhythm. When the ball is in the air, that’s the breath. When it lands in your hands, that’s the "Home" note (the resting tone). 🏠
By the time our students sit down at the piano, they aren't just reading notes—they are feeling the heartbeat of the music.

They learn faster. They play with more soul. And they never want to leave.

This was the moment at last summer's Final Recital when everything came together. One week of learning, collaborating, and rehearsing — performed in front of a room full of proud, laughing parents.
