The World Federation of Chiropractic is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Rebekah Wilks as Secretary-General, effective November 17, 2026.
Dr. Wilks brings experience in organizational strategy, governance and policy, international relations, government and professional advocacy, partnership development, public communication and clinical care.
Before her appointment as Secretary-General, Dr. Wilks served as the WFC’s Director of Strategy and Policy. She advised senior leadership on organizational priorities, co-developed the WFC’s 2024-2029 Strategic Plan and worked with Member National Associations and international partners across the Federation’s global agenda. She has held leadership roles in national and international professional and inter-professional organizations and initiatives. Dr. Wilks has represented the WFC in its engagement with the World Health Organization, including delivering statements to Member States at the World Health Assembly.
As Secretary-General, Dr. Wilks will work with the Board, Member National Associations, and international partners to champion the WFC’s mission of advancing awareness, utilization and integration of chiropractic internationally. She will place the priorities of Member National Associations at the center of that work, strengthen collaboration across regions, and build connections that help the profession speak and act together.
