The ongoing struggle for public access to Lake Ontario is a critical issue in Toronto. WATERFRONTario™ and its supporters are committed to ensuring that all residents can safely enjoy the lake's benefits. They call on the government and relevant authorities to prioritize public interests over privatization and commercial developments. By restoring and maintaining accessible and safe waterfront areas, Toronto can uphold its legacy as a city connected to its beautiful lakes and natural resources. The community's unified voice aims to secure the right to water access for current and future generations.

A beach without access to the water is like a restaurant where the food is only for viewing.

In response to the closure of Michael Hough beach at Ontario place and others like it in downtown Toronto, these “Urban Beaches” have been suggested as alternatives. We at WATERFRONTario stand opposed to this as access to the water is fundamental to ensuring that Toronto’s waterfront remains usable to all its citizens.

Welcome to WATERFRONTario. To welcome everyone, we have free ice cream (for display purposes only) at HTO Beach today = 2024 July 17th at 12:30pm.

Free Ice Cream at HTO Beach:
Wednesday July 19th, at 12:30pm.

What kind of sadistic person or group keeps designing beaches where you can't swim or even safely get into and out of the water with a canoe or kayak? Answer: Claude Cormier, designer of beaches where you can look at, but not access, the water.

We now introduce the Claude Cormier Confectionary: Ice cream that you can look at but not taste or eat.

Cormier Cream is prepared with Bitrex (a denaturant also known as Denatonium Benzoate), the most bitter substance in the world, so that you can enjoy the view of the ice cream, but not taste or eat it.

Best served cold on a hot day in July, when you can watch it slowly melt onto a plate, and then safely dispose of the semi-liquid mess.

Those of us who find this disturbing are going to meetup at 330 University Ave,
courtroom 5-1, on Friday July 19th, to show our support for OPP = Ontario Place Protectors.

While the authorities block off access to Cherry Beach and completely close off access to Micheal Hough Beach at Ontario Place, they're building another Cormier beach called "Leslie Lookout Park".

So we're creating "Lookout Pub", an authentic Irish pub with Denatured Guinness, a beer that you can look at but not taste or drink. We explain the idea in a bit more detail in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGrJW-hn0Tk&t=278s

What can you do?
Come to court this Friday July 19th, 330 University Ave, Courtroom #5-1.
