ARTERIES: RYERSON UNIVERSITY’S UNDERGRADUATE LIBERAL ARTS RESEARCH CONFERENCE

ARTeries is Ryerson University’s liberal arts undergraduate research conference. This prestigious event promotes and recognizes academic excellence, and presents students with an opportunity to further engage with Ryerson University’s academic community. The conference, which is prepared and planned by students, and o

rganized and sponsored by the Faculty of Arts, features the work of undergraduate students who exhibit distinction in social sciences and humanities research. The rigorous evaluation process involves a double-blind review panel made up of four Ryerson faculty members, and two upper level students. Selected students work together with mentors who support presentation preparation, and on completion, they receive a certificate of merit. Participating enhances the students’ resumes, and additionally gives students a chance to present important research to their peers and faculty members. Contributing to a richer campus culture, ARTeries invites and supports Ryerson students in their pursuit of both graduate studies, and the work force. Soon begins another week ahead! In the midst of midterms, extracurriculars and outside commitments, we hope you can make the time to take a pause, pay gratitude to the journey, and acknowledge yourself and where all your hard work has led you to today. We hope you’ve had a restful and productive weekend thus far!

Tomorrow is the big day; CALL FOR PAPERS! This means that you are able to submit a research paper that you are passionate about, and that you would like to present at this year’s ARTeries Conference. Not only will you have the chance to showcase a paper that you are proud of, you will have the chance to network and connect with other academics about your topic, and inspire your peers with your research! Similar to a TED Talk format, undergraduate students from any faculty have the opportunity to have their ideas heard on a larger scale and start progressive conversations.

WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE 13th ANNUAL ARTeries UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH CONFERENCE IS UNDERWAY!
This year’s conference will be taking place on ~MARCH 11th, 2020~ in the SEARS ATRIUM in the George Vari Engineering Building!
We are thrilled to announce the official date of the conference this year, and we cannot wait to see you present the research that you’re most passionate about at !
