Thank you to the National Bank Open National Bank Open and Tennis Canada for inviting Special Olympics Ontario Athletes to be part of such an incredible day! 🎾💙

Our athletes had an unforgettable experience taking part in a tennis clinic, learning new skills, and sharing their passion for the sport. A highlight of the day was meeting and rallying with Gaby Dabrowski Special Olympics Global Ambassador, whose encouragement and enthusiasm inspired everyone on the court.

We're so grateful to the National Bank Open, the volunteers, coaches, and everyone who made this experience possible. Thank you for creating an inclusive space where our athletes could shine and celebrate the joy of tennis together!

What a way to close out the series! Our Toronto FC Unified Team put on an absolute show at BMO Field on Saturday, securing a thrilling 8–4 victory over the New England Revolution Unified Team to sweep the 2026 Home-and-Home series! ⚽️🔥

Team Ontario... we did it. 400 medals across 10 sports.

We finished on top of the podium among every chapter in the country — but that's not why we're here. Those 400 medals represent thousands of moments: an athlete pushing past what they thought they could do, a coach in their corner, a province behind them. We started this journey as 10 sport teams. We're leaving as one team — a family.

This is what Special Olympics Ontario looks like when we come together. Proud doesn't begin to cover it.

Agai, that number was built long before Medicine Hat — in early practices, patient coaches, and families who never missed a ride to the gym. Proud of every athlete on that podium, and everyone back home who got them there.
