Recently, Leslie attended the Ontario Stone, Sand & Gravel Association Operations Tour alongside our partners from Bondyn Products Inc. joining industry professionals from across Ontario for two days of site tours, networking, and knowledge sharing.

Events like the OSSGA Operations Tour provide valuable opportunities to see operations firsthand, exchange ideas with industry peers, and stay connected to the challenges and innovations shaping the aggregates industry.

🪨 And today we hosted the 2026 OSSGA Operations Tour!

This morning OSSGA members headed out to visit multiple sites in the Lake Simcoe area for our annual Operations Tour. This was a great opportunity to learn from cutting edge aggregate operations and connect with industry colleagues.

♻️ An excellent day on the road with OSSGA members and industry partners during our Rehabilitation Tour, showcasing how former aggregate sites can be transformed into valuable community, environmental and economic assets.

A highlight of the tour was a stop at the Royal Botanical Gardens’ Rock Garden, where we rededicated the OSSGA Bronze Plaque Award. Once a gravel pit, the Rock Garden stands today as one of Ontario's most celebrated examples of aggregate rehabilitation. Thank you to our participating members, sponsors and the Royal Botanical Gardens!

Yesterday the OSSGA team was at Fowler Construction's head office in Bracebridge to formalize our partnership with Ontario Corps. The agreement creates a framework for OSSGA members to support emergency response and recovery efforts in communities across Ontario, symbolizing our industry's commitment to the local communities we operate in.
