Meet Zach -
Five years ago, he was a student pilot in the science and aviation program at the University of Waterloo. Now, he is a first officer for Jazz flying the E175 with goals of eventually upgrading to captain.

Zach comes from an aviation family, which served as an inspiration for his career. All of his family members involved in aviation participated in the Air Cadet program, and Zach’s own involvement with the program solidified his desire to pursue aviation.

Zach’s tip for your application: be authentic and let your genuine self show through in your application materials.

Il y a cinq ans, il était étudiant-pilote dans le programme de sciences et aviation de l’Université de Waterloo. Aujourd’hui, il est premier officier chez Jazz, où il pilote le E175, avec l’objectif de devenir éventuellement commandant de bord.

Zach vient d’une famille d’aviation, ce qui a grandement inspiré son parcours professionnel. Tous les membres de sa famille impliqués en aviation ont participé au programme des cadets de l’Air, et l’engagement de Zach dans ce programme a confirmé son désir de poursuivre une carrière en aviation.

Ad’Ria is a young author who began her writing journey at just 6 years old with her debut book, “Adria The Carnival Princess”. Now 11, she continues to grow her passion for storytelling with her second book.

On Saturday, December 13th, joined Million Dollar Smiles in delivering smiles to families with children facing life threatening illnesses and special needs, at their Annual Bear Drive. 🧸

We would like to thank Darianne, her sister Lianne, and her entire family very much for helping us sponsor this event year after year. 🌟 With the support from Darianne’s family, K2K was able to deliver the bears and special treats to 3 families this year. Thank you very much, Darianne! We know Santa will bring you everything you have asked him for… 🎅

At , we believe in transparency. When our kids raise funds for great causes, they know exactly how the funds are spent. For example, when we raised funds for playgrounds, the kids got to build the playground themselves, and met with the playground recipients. So when we ran a Toy Drive for The Wish Program 🎁 CP24 CHUM Christmas WISH, the kids got to go to The Wish Warehouse to help out, so they knew where their donations went, how meaningful their donations were, and what else was still needed in our community.

K2K helped out at The Wish Warehouse for the first time during the holiday season of 2019. 🎄We learned so much and knew we wanted to do more to help. This year, 24 of us were able to help out. It was amazing to see how our kids have grown up to be such kind and caring teenagers/adults. It’s doubly wonderful when we saw that most volunteers were returnees from the past years.

We would like to thank the warehouse staff for always making us feel welcome. But most of all, we would like to thank our K2K volunteers and their families, and our toy donors. Your help was more appreciated than you knew. The present from The Wish Program could very well be the only present a child gets under the tree this year, and you just gave that child a very Merry Christmas. Thank you very much!
