1st Downsview MedVents

1st Downsview MedVents MedVents is a Scouts Canada group sponsored by Toronto Paramedic Services. MedVents is a Scouts Canada vocational Venturer Company and Rover Crew.

The group consists of male and female youth, ages 14 to 25.
1st Downsview has a partnership between Toronto Paramedic Services and Scouts Canada. Toronto Paramedic Services training staff provide the youth with EMS certified first aid training as well as orientation in EMS procedures. The trained youth are then available to volunteer and provide first aid support at venues around Toronto and with Scouts Canada. This past weekend, we were providing first aid services at Nuit Blanche’s 20th anniversary at Nathan Phillips Square. It was a great experience to support local artists and engage within the community! Thank you to the City of Toronto for hosting an amazing overnight event, and we hope to see everyone again next year!

It was a pleasure seeing the world come together and celebrate the world’s biggest event here in Toronto and Canada!
