Our goal at Soles4Souls Canada is to collect one million pairs of shoes in every province in Canada.

Soles4Souls Canada offers an important service to children and adults in our community and around the world, who may not be able to afford a new pair of shoes, by collecting donations of gently worn shoes to provide to them. Your donations will ensure that children and adults will have the appropriate footwear for school, work and everything in-between. We need you, everyone in Ottawa to go and cl

ean out your closets and donate your shoes through the month of April. With your simple donation we can help so many people here in our community and around the world. Our goal this year in Ottawa is to collect 200 Hundred thousand pairs of shoes. You can drop off your donations at many locations throughout the city including right here at City Hall on Lisgar street. Together with Designer Brands, owner of The Shoe Co, DSW and Rubino, we hosted in-store shopping events in 9 cities across Canada, giving 450 kids the chance to pick out a brand new pair of shoes, just in time for Back to School.

For too many kids, not having a reliable pair of shoes becomes a barrier to school, sports, and everyday confidence. A new pair of shoes can change that, giving kids the comfort and confidence to step into the school year ready for anything.

We are so grateful for the partners and communities who made this possible. This is what stepping forward looks like. 👟

We are extremely grateful for our partners who step forward to support our mission. 👟💙

In partnership with Morguard's OnePlanet campaign, we collected gently used shoes from 17 shopping centre locations across Canada, totaling 5,275 lbs, or 4,220 pairs of footwear diverted from landfills and given a second life.

This impact would not be possible without our partners who went the extra mile. Purolator supported the delivery of donated footwear, helping ensure shoes reached communities in need, and Ardène generously contributed gift cards to encourage participation and amplify the impact.

Last week, several members of the Soles4Souls Canada Board joined fellow board directors and staff in Guatemala for an unforgettable week of connection, learning and impact.

From helping provide new shoes to nearly 400 children to spending meaningful time with our partners on the ground, the week was a powerful reminder of what our mission is all about: creating opportunity for people through shoes and clothing.

That momentum continued this week as our full Soles4Souls Canada Board came together to reflect, share perspectives and look ahead to how we can continue growing our impact in Canada and around the world.

We’re incredibly grateful for all of our Canada Board Directors and Board Emeritus, and for the many ways they contribute to our mission through their time, insight, ideas and commitment to creating more opportunity for others.

On July 20, we joined AFC Toronto's Open Training event in Toronto, where fans traded in their gently used cleats and athletic shoes for a chance to win AFC Toronto swag.

The result? Over 150 lbs of shoes collected, all headed toward communities in need.

Thank you to AFC Toronto and every fan who showed up and gave back. Proof that a love for the game can go a long way🙌

250 kids in Winnipeg crossed the finish line in brand new shoes this past June. 👟🏁

Thanks to the Manitoba Marathon's Champions in Training program, thousands of kids trained all spring for the chance to race on marathon day. This year, Soles4Souls Canada made sure 250 of them had proper athletic shoes to do it in — fitted the day before the race so they could step up to the start line with confidence.

Watching young athletes earn every single step is something special. We are so proud of every single one of them.

None of this happens without incredible support. A huge thank you to adidas, Ardene, Designer Brands, Giant Tiger, and Purolator for making this possible. We are also grateful to every volunteer and board member Garo Keresteci for showing up for these young athletes. 💙

As kids across Canada head back to school, not every child has what they need to walk through the door with confidence.

Now THIS is what community looks like! 😁

St. Marie of the Incarnation Catholic School in Bradford, ON came together over the past month to collect gently used shoe donations, and collected 1,498 pairs heading to people who need them most.

Huge thank you to the parent council for organizing this amazing initiative, and to the community for showing up and showing out! We couldn’t be more grateful 💙👟
