On November 13, 2006 Kawasaki Disease Canada Parent Awareness Group was founded by a small group of parents directly affected by a Kawasaki disease diagnosis. Although not an incorporated charity, for nearly ten years we have promoted awareness, provided money for research, offered support for families, and received recognition and gratitude from the medical community for our efforts.
