🏗️ THE HISTORY OF CONCRETE 🚕

Truth and Dare is ecstatic to present the Toronto premiere of John Wilson’s THE HISTORY OF CONCRETE at Hot Docs Cinema!

How was concrete invented? In a style familiar to fans of the HBO series How To with John Wilson, The History of Concrete is (maybe, sort of) filmmaker John Wilson’s attempt to answer that question.

The Toronto premiere of The History of Concrete will be preceded by the world premiere of Taxi Drivers (D: Clover, Sacha Kingston-Wayne), a short documentary about fake cab drivers scamming unsuspecting Toronto residents.

📅 Screening:
Wednesday, September 23, 7:00 PM

A few weeks ago, we teamed up with our friends at TIFF Next Wave and POV Film for our annual 48-Hour Film Challenge ✨

We wrapped our challenge with a screening and reception at TIFF Lightbox, celebrating the films, the filmmakers, and the community that made it all happen.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the challenge, showed up, and made it such a memorable night. 🎬
