Introducing this year’s Director Development Incubator Finalists 👀🔥

Powered by and co-presented by we’re thrilled to announce the six emerging filmmakers selected for our 2026 Director Development Incubator!

Over the next six weeks, these filmmakers will take part in an intensive mentorship program designed to support their growth in cinematography, directing, production design, budget creation, financing, and integrating an anti-oppressive lens into their creative practice.

At the end of the program, each finalist will pitch their short film live during on July 25th. One filmmaker will receive the grand prize valued at $35,000, including $5,000 in cash and $30,000 in in-kind services to support the creation of their short film.
