Vice President: Tarana Miskin Sahil has been working since 1996 on child protection especially against child sexual abuse.

Sahil is one of the few Non-Governmental Organizations which has been working on child protection since 1996 with a special focus on the issue of child sexual abuse and exploitation. Sahil's head office is located in Islamabad, along with four provincial offices. They are located in Abbottabad (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Jaffarabad (Balochistan), Lahore (Punjab) and Sukkur (Sindh). each out to provincial districts. As a chapter of this NGO, UTSO is looking to raise awareness on the issue that is child sexual abuse. Through engaging in conversations, making the subject less taboo and thus tackling child sexual abuse head on, we hope to inspire students at UofT to join the cause. SAHIL'S WORK:

- FREE LEGAL AID AT SAHIL OFFICES:
*Free Legal Aid for victims of Child Sexual Abuse & women that are
victims of violence.
*A Network of Sahil referral lawyers are available all over Pakistan.

- FREE COUNSELING SERVICE:
*Counseling service for any person in need for any issue available at all
Sahil Offices.
*Client referral system available all over Pakistan

SAHIL COMMUNITY BASED CHILD PROTECTION MECHANISM:
*Sahil Child Protection Networks(CPN) established in villages
*CPN linked up with local administration and other stakeholders for
support services
