Your board of directors has been in our ✨hustle✨ era for our profession the last little while, and we want you to be informed.
👂🏻In case you haven’t heard, regulation is on the horizon for our profession. What does that mean? It means we will be licensed professionals in our province, with the College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSBC) acting as our regulator.
👩💻What has BCSRT been doing? Well, a lot! We have been engaging with RT leadership, the Ministry of Health, and the CPSBC to ensure that RT scope of practice is maintained and protected. We have been meeting, learning, advocating, and committed to representing all RTs training and working in BC. There has been an immense amount of feedback requested, and we are really working hard to make sure nothing is missed.
We will be providing updates via social media and emails to members as more details become clear. 🫁We will also be providing an in-depth overview and Q&A at the BCSRT Conference in Kamloops this September 24&25. That will be the best place to get all your queries addressed!
