We offer comfort, support, inspiration, and encouragement for individual, community, and global transformation by affirming both the reality and the dreams of the LGBTQ+ youth in our community. 🏳️‍⚧️💙 Empowerment, Information, Community
Trans ID & Gender-Affirming Care Night at Toby’s Place

🌈✨
This Monday, Toby’s Place became a space for learning, connection, and affirmation as youth gathered for our Trans ID & Gender-Affirming Care Clinic in partnership with The 519 💫

Throughout the evening, youth had the opportunity to explore important information about identity documents, legal name and gender marker changes, and pathways to accessing gender-affirming care and community supports. Together, we created a welcoming environment where questions could be asked openly and everyone could access information at their own pace 🏳️‍⚧️💖

Through thoughtful discussion and resource sharing, we learned about:
📝 Updating legal documents and identification
🏳️‍⚧️ Changing name and gender markers
🏥 Accessing gender-affirming healthcare and supports
💬 Community resources and advocacy
❓ Navigating systems and asking questions in a supportive space

One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was hearing from our guest speaker from The 519, who shared valuable knowledge, guidance, and resources while helping foster conversations centered on empowerment, self-determination, and community care

🌈✨
It was inspiring to see youth engaging with information that can help make important processes feel more accessible, affirming, and less overwhelming. Whether participants came to learn something new, prepare for future steps, or simply connect with others who shared similar experiences, the evening was filled with support, encouragement, and community 💙

A heartfelt thank you to The 519 () for your ongoing partnership and commitment to supporting trans and gender-diverse youth. Your collaboration helps create affirming spaces where young people can access information, resources, and community care with confidence 💖

And thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such a thoughtful, welcoming, and empowering evening 🏳️‍⚧️✨
