Congratulations Biswajit Das, the winner of our 2026 Captain’s Cup! 🏆

Biswajit, Season 2 Honorary Chair and captain of Team , referred six new captains during the Captain’s Cup promotion period, and 11 teams overall.

On Cancer Survivor Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and courage of those who have faced a cancer diagnosis.

This past weekend, we were honoured to welcome Venitta Outar as our Season 2 Match Day Impact Speaker.

At just 20 years old, Venitta’s life changed in an instant when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. What followed was a journey marked by dialysis, years of chemotherapy, unimaginable uncertainty, and the challenge of rebuilding her identity while fighting for her life.

But Venitta’s story is not defined by cancer.

It is defined by resilience. It is defined by the family who stood beside her, the care team at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre who saw her as more than a patient, and the determination that carried her through every setback, every treatment, and every difficult day.

Today, even while navigating the long-term effects of treatment, Venitta continues to give back. Her family donated the Bell of Hope to the hematology outpatient unit at The Princess Margaret so that future patients can celebrate milestones surrounded by the teams who supported them through their journey.

As she shared with our Cricket community, cancer may interrupt your plans, but it does not get to decide how your story ends.

Thank you, Venitta, for sharing your journey and reminding us all to embrace life, cherish every moment, and keep moving forward—even when the path looks different than we imagined.

Today, and every day, we Carry The Fire for a world free from the fear of cancer.
