That’s a wrap! The 2026 Chris Langan Weekend was one of our best yet and the committee would like to thank everyone who helped make it possible. Huge thank you to our wonderful guests and Mickey Dunne. The Toronto Irish music community loved having you with us. We couldn’t have asked for better teachers and musicians. Thank you for the beautiful tunes and generous energy that you brought to the weekend.
Big shoutout to our sponsors as well— without them, the weekend would not be possible. , Comhaltas, Steve Uzielli and Family, The Kennedy Family, The Murphy Family, The Walls Family, The Shoniker Family. And we appreciate the ongoing support of as we promote piping in Toronto. Shoutout to and Jane Noonan as well for being a tireless supporter of the music and our festival. Best pub in town!
And of course, thank you to all of the local musicians who came out to play and/or teach. We’re so lucky to have you all in (or near) the city. *o_
Last but not least, thank you all for coming to the Langan Festival and supporting the community. You keep us going year after year, and we can’t wait to share more tunes with you in 2027!

The wait is OVER! The Langan Festival is TONIGHT! Join us at the TRANZAC for the welcome concert, followed by sessions. Tomorrow, we have workshops, a youth session, the gala concert, and more sessions. Sunday, we wrap it all up with the Piper’s chair at Noonan’s.

JACOB MCCAULEY- Bodhran— A welcoming workshop for anyone curious about the bodhrán or looking to refine their playing, open to all levels (extra bodhrans and tippers available for those who want to give it a try!)
GRAEME MCGILLIVRAY— Guitar— Hone your guitar accompaniment skills with a talented touring musician.
ELI HOWARD— Whistle— whistle tunes and techniques with an experienced Toronto session player.
JOHN MURPHY— Banjo— banjo tunes and techniques with a skilled Co. Mayo player.
