🎨✨ Applications are now open for Thrive Youth’s FREE Youth Lead Impact (YLI) Etobicoke Summer Program! ✨🎨

This 5-day intensive program is designed for youth ages 13–18 (grades 9-12) who are passionate about creativity, leadership, community impact, and building future-ready skills.

Through hands-on workshops, collaboration with professional artists, and project-based learning, participants will work together to create a collective “Art Activation” exploring important social issues affecting their communities. 💡🌍

Participants will gain:
🎤 Leadership & teamwork skills
🎨 Creative mentorship from artist-educators
🧠 Communication & problem-solving experience
🤝 Community connections
📁 Portfolio-building experience
⏱️ 30 volunteer/community service hours

Program Details
🗓️ Dates: August 10–14, 2026
⏰ Time: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
📍 Location: Central Etobicoke High School (10 Denfield St, Etobicoke, ON M9R 3H1)

🎨☀️ Learn, Create, Explore this summer with Thrive Youth’s Etobicoke Summer Camp!

Our FREE arts-based camp is designed for youth ages 9–13 (grades 4–8 entering in September) to build confidence, creativity, leadership skills, and meaningful connections through hands-on workshops, field trips, and exciting creative adventures every day. From visual arts to collaborative projects, each day brings something new in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment.

In collaboration with .ca , Thrive’s Toronto team is hosting a creative, hands-on workshop for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth ages 16–29. 🌈

Together, we’ll explore what it means to be CONFIDENT, CAPABLE, and CONNECTED through colour, pattern, and shared stories. 🤝

Led by guest artist educator Jai Fowler (they/them) — a q***r artist and advocate with Q***r Momentum, and creator behind Jai Crystal Jewels + Goth Doll — youth will learn the basics of wire wrapping and create their own wearable art headband. 👑

This flexible, youth-centered workshop is rooted in themes of growth and renewal, offering space to explore creativity in a supportive, affirming environment. 🌱
