Happy National Engineering Month!

On March 24th, COMTO Toronto & Region in collaboration with Society of Women Engineers Toronto is leaning into National Engineering Month in celebrating the lived experiences of engineers with a mosaic of backgrounds. Come learn how this mosaic—both in engineering discipline and personal experience— creates a professional strength that allows us to design more complete, resilient, and innovative transportation network for everyone.

The transportation industry is often perceived as a specific “lane” reserved for a few disciplines. In reality, it is a vast intersection where career paths from every engineering specialty converge. This panel isn’t about the “right” degree; it’s about the unique personal experiences of engineers who found their purpose in moving the world forward.

Panel discussion featuring:

Moderated by WSP: Naveen Nirmalaraj, P.Eng., PMP

Panelists including:
- Alto Train: Emir Kaptanoglu
- Arcadis: Yoland El-hajj
- City of Toronto: Becky Katz
- Colliers Project Leaders: Bithun Sarkar
- GHD: Jade Kamau
- Toronto Transit Commission: Fabrice Kashibura

Join the virtual discussion on March 24th at 12:00 PM. Save the date, time and link in your calendar!
