Each winter, over 2000 people are admitted to hospitals in Canada as a result of a skiing or snowboarding fall, according to the Canadian Institute for Health Information, 2011. Ambulances and paramedics can't get to a patient in the middle of a ski hill or on a nordic trail. The vast majority of injured skiers and boarders are helped by volunteer members of the Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP). We invite you to come out and see what we do and how we do it.

Our team may not have brought home the trophy at the CSP National First Aid and On Snow Competition, but they absolutely came home winners—full of pride, new friendships, and valuable learning. The sessions delivered great OS knowledge, and the competition was exceptionally well run. Our team represented the Division with positive attitudes, professionalism, and a real willingness to help others—plus they looked sharp in their Division jackets. Wonderful work guys! Way to end the season 🔥

The season of the swap is here! Come check out all the deals at Ski Snow Valley this weekend!

The Volunteers of the Canadian Ski Patrol are bringing you the Barrie Ski & Board Equipment Swap & Sale, hosted at Snow Valley, Friday October 31st – Sunday, November 2nd! You’ll be able to gear up for a fantastic winter on the slopes with a great selection of new and used equipment and accessories. Snow Valley will also be hosting our annual Open House event on Saturday November 1st in conjunction with the swap! We’ll have free activities for the entire family! Take a hay wagon ride, grab a lift to the top of the hill, check out our mini-tube slide or check out our newest attraction – the Summit Soar Zipline for just $5 a ride!

If you are looking for gear at the Swap & Sale you will have to book and purchase a time slot to enter the swap. Everyone entering the Swap will require a ticket – Adults 18+ are $5 and Children 17 and under are Free.
