We will be hosting our bi-weekly Rotary meeting on Tuesday, the 4th of March starting at 7PM. This meeting will be both in-person and virtual!

We'll be meeting in person at Lucky Clover Irish Sports Pub, 17 Lower Simcoe St, Toronto, ON.

We are excited to have Anneliese Lawton as our guest speaker!

Anneliese Lawton is a strategic marketing and business development consultant, mental health champion, and Founder. She is the Chief Marketing Officer of Lawton & Co., an award-winning creative marketing collective, and Founder of The Playbook, an evidence-based coaching development framework designed to support both rec and elite sports.

Anneliese is also a mom to three spunky kids, two dogs, a foster puppy, and, much to her husband's dismay, a stray Holland Lop - (who remains far too ungrateful for his rescue).

About her talk:
Most women know the feeling of not being "good enough." From childhood, we're bombarded with a standard of girlhood—womanhood—leading to a long, drawn-out process of losing ourselves. By the time I had my babies, I was a Swiss Cheese version of myself. Faced with mothering two babies under a year and a half apart and crippling depression, and a tumor diagnosis that risked paralysis of my face (literally the only thing that looked familiar to me after becoming a mom). I had two choices: let fear win or channel it into something meaningful. I chose the latter.

Join me in From Frantic to Found, where I’ll share how navigating chaos led to a profound identity shift. Together, we’ll explore the myth of self-care as a quick fix (spoiler: you can’t self-care your way out of trauma), and dive into the deeper work needed to reclaim our true selves, both personally and professionally.

My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and understood, in a way that perhaps you haven’t before. Whether you’re a mother or not, you’ll leave this session feeling more whole, more connected, and more inspired.
