Bloorcourt Business Improvement Area (BIA) Bloorcourt.com Bloor Street West business improvement area from Dufferin to Montrose (near Christie s Welcome to the Bloorcourt BIA Community page!

The Bloorcourt business improvement area covers the community along Bloor Street West from Dufferin Street to Montrose Avenue (just east of Christie Street and below Christie Pits Park). Established in 1979, the BIA works on behalf of, and supports, the business and property owners of Bloorcourt, with a mandate to create a safer, attractive and prosperous community to increase economic development and drive traffic to shops and services in the neighbourhood. The BIA aims to better neighbourhood features, as well as maintain and beautify the streets and buildings within the area. Working with community and city partners the BIA promotes Bloorcourt as a vibrant community for shopping, living and discovery. It is our goal to support local businesses and encourage growth and improvement within our dynamic Bloorcourt community. Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas (TABIA) is a non-profit umbrella organization working with the over 78 Business Improvement Areas within the City of Toronto who in turn represent more than 35,000+ business & property owners. http://toronto-bia.com/what-is-tabia

In a collaboration between the Bloordale and Bloorcourt BIAs, many storefronts within the two BIAs (Bloor St W between Christie Pits to St Helen’s Ave) will be participating in the Candy Crawl.
