Join the Toronto & York Region Métis Council on Sunday, August 9th, 2026 for our Annual Voyageur Paddle to the Toronto Islands in a voyageur canoe! Snacks provided at Centre Island and Pizza lunch upon return. No cost. Beginners welcome!

Where:The Harbourfront Canoe & Kayak Centre is located at 283 Queen’s Quay West (SW corner of Queens Quay & Robertson Cres.) Toronto, Ontario M5V 1A2.

Registration is required, as spaces are limited.

This event is open to individuals who:
* are Métis citizens, and includes their families, partners, and significant others
* are 6 years of age and older (children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)
* live or go to school in Toronto or York Region

Attention Citizens! Registration is now open for the Metis Nation of Ontario's (MNO) 33rd Annual General Assembly.

This year's AGA will be held at Fort William Historical Park - 1350 King Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7K 1L7 from Friday, August 14th - Sunday August 16th, 2026.

The Annual General Assembly is an opportunity for all citizens to participate in shaping the direction and future of MNO.

This year's events include:

-The return of MNO's "We Aspire" AGA Golf Tournament
