Family drop ins, parent groups, school readiness, in-school supports and community events. The Highfield Community Enrichment Project offers free programs to families with young children. It is located at Highfield Junior School at 85 Mount Olive Drive. Our Child and Family Educators provide in-class support, a kindergarten enrichment program and a summer enrichment program for kindergarten aged c
hildren at Highfield Junior School. The Early Childhood Educators in the Family Resource Centre offer daily drop-in programs, special activities and parent education workshops. The Community Engagement Program provides rich volunteer opportunities for community members and supports various community events that enhance life in the Highfield community for children and families. Numerous events, such as the Community Breakfast and Spring Community Fair, are organized to bring community members together. Special Guests

Every month our drop-in programs feature visits from a social worker, a public health nurse, a speech and language pathologist and an early literacy specialist.
