With a vision of celebrating developmental challenges, we promote independence and individuality and encourage community integration in all areas of a person's life. While reflecting a Catholic orientation, Mary Centre is available to people of all backgrounds and religious denominations. In fact, it is our values that represent who we are and what we do.

Last weekend, the people we support had a wonderful time attending KiteFest in Brampton. From watching colourful kites soar through the sky, to spending time with friends, there were plenty of smiles and memorable moments shared throughout the day.

The warm weather is finally here, and everyone supported at Stouffville was thrilled to get back outdoors! This past weekend, they enjoyed a visit to the Unionville Festival, a beloved annual event that brings the community together. The day was filled with fun and excitement as they listened to live music, bounced in inflatable castles, watched the parade, and cheered on their favourite dogs at the dog show.

It was a fantastic day of community, connection, and celebration. Everyone is already looking forward to returning next year!

During National AccessAbility Week, Mary Centre recognizes the importance of creating communities where everyone can belong, participate and thrive.

Accessibility is a key part of Building a Good Life. It means removing barriers, promoting inclusion, and ensuring that people of all abilities can access the spaces, services, and opportunities that matter most to them.

This week, we celebrate the progress that has been made and reaffirm our commitment to building communities where all people are valued, included, and empowered to live the lives they choose.

Deaf Services Canada (formerly know as Silent Voice Canada), a member agency of Catholic Charities, is seeking donations of unused tablets to support their Deaf Mentors. These mentors work part‑time with families of Deaf toddlers as they begin developing language, and tablets are an essential tool in their work.

If you have a tablet, you’re no longer using, it could make a meaningful difference for a family who needs it. Please reach us using the following methods:

You can also drop the tablets at our head office situated at :
