Dear Friends,
I pleased to announce that Cecil Community Centre's Annual Giving Tuesday: Winter Warmth Campaign for 2025 has officially launched.
Our goal this year is $3,000, and as of 4:18 pm Monday, December 1st, we have raised more than one third of this.
I understand that everyone has been hit by the cost-of-living crisis, so we understand if you or yours need to pass, but if you chose to give this is what your gift will do:
$10.00 gives a neighbour a pair of warm socks, and gloves
$25.00 provides nutritious snacks, and water for a week
$50.00 supports volunteer opportunities, and social-recreational activities that reduce loneliness, and social isolation for those who are unhoused or precariously housed.
$100.00 sustains our work to alleviate the root causes of poverty.

Cecil Community Centre has been warming hearts, and hands in Kensington-Chinatown for more than 40 years. This year--on Giving Tuesday--we need your help more than ever homeless, and hunger have hit our community harder than we ever thought possible.
