🇨🇦⚜️🇺🇦 The Association ukrainienne de Lévis event brought together members of the Ukrainian and French Canadian communities for a reflective discussion on the realities of the war in Ukraine.

Pierrick "Ax" delivered a firsthand account of his experience on the front line, presenting images from the zero line and describing the daily conditions faced by Ukrainians living and working in close proximity to active combat. His testimony underscored both the emotional weight of revisiting these memories and the enduring resilience of those affected.

Complementing this perspective, Hanna Spirina outlined the early efforts of the Ukrainian community in Lévis following the onset of the full‑scale invasion. She detailed the establishment of the local association, the initial mobilization of volunteers, and the support extended by the City of Lévis from the first days of the crisis.

The program highlighted the dual realities of the front and the rear, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging and preserving both experiences.

The Mayor of Lévis, Steven Blaney, was acknowledged for attending the entire conference, engaging with participants, and joining in the cultural experience.
