Each year, Aptus impacts over 3,000 people of all ages and abilities through:
• Supportive housing
• Academic programming in partnership with the TDSB and YRDSB
• Programs for youth and adults including employment readiness
• Support groups and respite for families
• Occupational therapy, recreation therapy and behavioural services
• Free Sensory Workout program -- to virtually access and learn about physical activities which are sensory based
• Free Aptus Teaching Landscape program -- to visit or participate in an accessible environmental learning space in Downsview

A big thank you to siblings Tali and Elan for celebrating their birthdays by giving back to Aptus. Through Echoage, they raised $358 to support people with developmental disabilities, including their aunt, who lives in an Aptus supportive home.

Their gift will help purchase a reclining chair to enhance comfort and quality of life. We also love that Elan chose Aptus for his school project, “Project Giveback,” and proudly shared it with his classmates!
