I wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for attending, supporting, and donating, to our most successful event yet. It was such a pleasurable and gratifying experience for us and none of it would be possible without you. I’d like to give an extra shout out to our generous lead sponsors. Igal Medad from Capzul, Sheldon Kawarsky and The Soft Skills Group, Mark Lieberman from Loopstra Nixon LLP, Jay Ainabe of J. A. Real Estate Group, Dr. Ilan Medad, Petra Thomas from K & G Engraving and Mike Evans from Evan’s Electrical.

We were blessed with a beautiful day once again, and it always makes me smile when I think of our late mother Marion, for whom we named our centre after, up there in the clouds ensuring the weather cooperates. Marion’s Place will be a one-of-a-kind centre in Dufferin County, which will support youth and women escaping volatile situations. We are so excited to reiterate how we are taking the next steps to getting our centre built on the land we recently obtained. To find out more about the centre, please visit us at www.Marionsplace.org.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s event, and we hope you’ll all be back and possibly bring a few new faces to help us get even closer to achieving our goals. This year we were able to raise $15,000, all of which goes directly towards making Marion’s Place a reality. I can’t stress enough that none of the money we raise goes anywhere else. We have no paid employees and mostly all our overhead is covered by our board and founders. For us there’s nothing better than actually seeing and knowing where your donations are going.

We kindly ask that if you have any pictures from the event, please send them to [email protected], so we can add them to our collection.

I’d also like to add that if any of you have any ideas or suggestions on what we can do to make the event even better, please share them with us.

Thank you all again.

Not much time left to get involved and support our new centre in Dufferin County. Marion’s Place will be a one of a kind centre to support youth, their families and women escaping volatile situations. Services will include therapy, counselling, addiction help, emergency beds and much more. All settled in the beautiful countryside so nature and animals can be a part of the transformation.

Please help support us at our event Golfing 4 Heroes, Saturday September 13th, 2025.

With 2024 almost over we wanted to share our heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us last year and for many past years as well. Without your support we would never be able to do what we do.

Every year we get closer and closer to the realization of having our very own centre, Marion’s Place. For those of you who haven’t had a chance, please consider visiting our website at www.MarionsPlace.org to learn more.

We’d also like to ask if you’d be willing to share our mission and charity with anyone else you think would be interested or willing to get involved.

Finally, we’d like to wish you all a Happy & Healthy New Year and nothing but the best for 2025.

Thank you again!

A Time for Compassion and Connection!

As we immerse ourselves in the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it’s important to remember that this season isn’t joyful for everyone. While many are celebrating, others may be struggling in ways that aren’t always visible.

For some, the holidays bring up feelings of loss, loneliness, or financial stress. Others may be navigating complex family dynamics or facing personal challenges that make this time of year particularly difficult.

If this resonates with you, know that you are not alone. It’s okay to feel what you feel, and it’s okay to set boundaries to protect your peace.

For those of us in a position to give, let’s go beyond material gifts this season. A kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or simply being present can make all the difference. Reach out to someone who might need a little extra support—a friend, a colleague, or even a stranger.

Let’s use this season as a reminder to lead with compassion and to hold space for the diverse experiences of those around us.

To anyone struggling right now, I’m sending you strength and love.

Let’s make this a season of true connection and care. ✨✨

If anyone is in need of support, please reach out.

If anyone is willing to support, please let us know.

Happy Holidays!
