Then a career as a professional interpreter may be just the thing for you. At Glendon, our approach to interpreter training is unique. In the first year of our program, students learn to interpret in the conference, court, and healthcare settings. Classes are taught online, through live, real-time connections with classmates and teachers from all over the world. In Year One, you can complete your
course work from home. You can even earn the Graduate Diploma in General Interpreting, all without ever setting foot on our campus. In Year Two of the training, students concentrate exclusively on the conference setting, and all classes are taught onsite, in our state-of-the-art interpreting lab. Classroom learning is combined with plenty of practical interpreting experience, both at Glendon, and with a number of national and international organizations.
