June is Pride Month - a time to celebrate the strength, diversity, and resilience of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, while also recognizing the importance of equity, inclusion, and dignity in every part of society, including healthcare.

At Lung Cancer Canada, we believe that everyone affected by lung cancer deserves access to compassionate, respectful, and equitable care. We are committed to fostering a community where people of all identities and experiences feel seen, supported, and heard.

This Pride Month, we stand in solidarity with 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and families across Canada and celebrate the diversity that strengthens our communities. 🏳️‍🌈

May 31 is World No To***co Day.

To***co remains one of the leading causes of lung cancer, yet the impact of lung cancer extends far beyond smoking history. Anyone with lungs can get lung cancer.

Today is an opportunity to reflect on the importance of prevention, public health awareness, and policies that help reduce to***co use while supporting people on their journey to quit.

It is also a moment to remember the many Canadians and families affected by lung cancer and to reaffirm the need for earlier detection, equitable access to care, and continued investment in research.

At Lung Cancer Canada, we remain committed to advancing prevention while ensuring compassion, support, and better outcomes for everyone affected by lung cancer.

🔴 FULL RECORDING IS NOW AVAILABLE!
Too often, women with lung cancer are dismissed, diagnosed late, or never seen as being at risk at all.

Our recent policy roundtable, Too Often, Too Late: Lung Cancer, Women, and Systemic Delay, brought together powerful voices in advocacy, medicine, and lived experience to confront the stigma, misconceptions, and systemic barriers continuing to impact outcomes across Canada.

This is a conversation that needs to be heard.
