Shawarma in the Sukkah was special.

Delicious food, great company, kids having fun, lulav shakes and sukkah eats — what Sukkot is all about!

So special celebrating with all of you. Chag Sameach!

As many of you may already know, our previous location for the City Sukkah at the corner of the Times Group property is no longer available as construction has begun.

A huge thank you to Times Group for graciously hosting our Community Sukkah for the past eight years, since its very first year!

Baruch Hashem, we’ve just secured a new home for the Sukkah at Schwarz Law Partners, 1984 Yonge Street, just a short walk from Chabad.

A special thank you to Jayson for jumping at the opportunity and helping ensure that the Community Sukkah remains available and accessible to everyone in our community.

We look forward to celebrating Sukkot together!

Throughout the month of July, we're working to grow our Chai Club!

The Chai Club is a group of individuals who give chai—life to the Jewish community at Yonge & Eglinton through a monthly gift of $18, $54, $180, or any amount that is meaningful to them.

We currently have 21 members, and our goal is to grow to 40.

Every monthly gift helps create a vibrant Jewish community through Shabbat services, Torah classes, holiday events, Hebrew School, family programs, and so much more.

If you'd like to learn more or become part of the Chai Club, I'd love to chat!

Today, the third of Tammuz, marks thirty-two years since the passing of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory.

In Hebrew, the word for heart is lev, which has a numerical value of thirty-two.

The heart is more than just another organ. It is the source of life for the entire body, pumping vitality and energy from the head to the very tips of the toes.

In much the same way, the Rebbe served as the heart of the Jewish people, inspiring every person he encountered with a deeper sense of life, purpose, and mission; regardless who they were.

And like the heart, his love is not merely spoken about, it is felt. It is expressed through his guidance, encouragement, and genuine concern for every individual.

As we mark this day, let us take this message to heart. May we continue the Rebbe’s vision by bringing more goodness and kindness into the world, helping prepare it for the Redemption we all long for.

Is Judaism an exclusive, members-only club?

In this upcoming course, we’ll explore a powerful idea: Judaism isn’t a closed club. The Torah carries a message meant to be shared with the world—a vision of making this world more G-dly, filled with kindness, purpose, and peace.
