The Dare 2 Care Project seeks to improve the holiday experience for vulnerable groups in our community and inspire dialogue around sustainable solutions to our community's critical social issues. The Dare 2 Care Project is an effort to build stronger, more resilient communities through three key principles:
Collaborate: To bring together old friends and new and work towards tackling our society’s
toughest social issues. At Dare 2 Care Project, we believe that through bringing diverse people together in a shared space, we create a sense of community, belonging and caring that will in turn motivate us to be the best versions of ourselves
Contribute: To augment the holiday experience for the most affected vulnerable groups in our community, four times each year. Our schedule is as follows:
New Years - "New Beginnings" - Children's aid
Valentine's Day - "Celebrating Loved ones" - Domestic Abuse Agencies
Canada Day - "Belonging" - Immigrant/Refugee Services
Thanksgiving - "Gratitude" - Homeless Shelters
