🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡

On September 30, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day — a day to honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

Today is a time to listen, learn, reflect, and remember, while recognizing the lasting impacts of the residential school system on Indigenous Peoples across Canada. 🧡

Wearing orange represents our shared commitment to the message that Every Child Matters and reminds us of the importance of continuing the journey toward truth, healing, and reconciliation.

May we continue to educate ourselves, amplify Indigenous voices, and carry the meaning of this day with us beyond September 30. 🧡
