🌟 Artist Highlight: Lynne Mcilvride 🌟
Lynne Mcilvride describes herself as a "post-sophisticated contemporary visionary (mixed-media) artist," using vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and bold symmetry to blur the line between art and life.
She shared, “Imago has been an encourager generally, an organization that sees the arts as an important part of society and not a luxury.”

🌟 Artist Highlight: Louise & Chris – Trinity Bach Project 🌟
Chris and Louise founded the Trinity Bach Project with the support of Imago.
Louise's passion for music began in her childhood, playing piano, singing German folk songs with her mother and later immersing herself in the choral works of J.S. Bach.
For Louise, art is about creating beauty that points to God.
“Imago was the vehicle which helped us to establish the Trinity Bach Project as an organization." The community and belief they received through Imago helped validate their dreams in “a world where the arts are sometimes seen as superfluous.”

Poetry isn’t just about verses on a page, it’s a connection between the soul and the world around us. ✨
It’s the unspoken language that bridges our inner being with the profound essence of life itself.

Even centuries later, a masterpiece can welcome us in and offer a glimpse into the artist’s world.
Art invites us to feel, reflect, and connect.

Most scripture speaks to us, but the Psalms speak for us. 💙
They give voice to our despair, fear, frustration, praise, gratitude, longing, hope, and trust.
The Psalms meet us in our darkest moments and remind us of the promise of what’s to come.

Is every good sermon art?
We absolutely think so!
Sermons are art because they tap into creativity, emotion, and truth, just like any other form of artistic expression.
When a sermon is crafted with intention, it can encourage deep thought, stir the soul, and communicate complex ideas in a way that really resonates with the listeners.
The message, delivery, and impact can really make a sermon a masterpiece.
What are your thoughts? Can sermons be good art? Let us know in the comments below.
