Thank you for donating to our first Make Happy Tummies store fundraiser! 🩷✏️🎒

We are overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity for children in need and the school breakfast programs that will benefit from this first national campaign that came to a close on April 17th, 2025.

One thing is clear: your support will make a big difference for children, and your donations will have a lasting impact!

Thanks to our amazing partnering grocery stores and 41 wonderful sponsors, 100% of your donations will stay right in the community where they were made.

Throughout the campaign, stores had so much fun and created wonderful memories together! From tossing engaging games and heartfelt handwritten cards from kids, the sense of community and kindness was truly uplifting.

While our in-store campaign might be over, our mission continues! We’re dedicated to raising awareness about the one in three children who risk going to school on an empty stomach and invite you to donate today. 🏫

Merci à Metro et Super C et aux nombreux commanditaires qui ont récemment soutenu notre campagne Créons de joyeux p’tits bedons™ au Québec. Vous pouvez soutenir un enfant local aujourd'hui et 100 % de votre don restera dans la province. Le besoin est grand...🩷

Nous avons un nombre croissant d’élèves pour qui le programme du petit déjeuner est une partie essentielle de leur matinée et une partie qu’ils attendent avec impatience.Nous constatons des niveaux croissants d’insécurité alimentaire dans notre communauté, et le programme nous permet d’aborder ce problème sans stigmatisation et d’une manière qui favorise une atmosphère « familial » à l’école. Les enseignant(es) qui étaient réticent(es) à l’idée de consacrer du temps au petit déjeuner voient maintenant l’intérêt de cette partie essentielle de la journée scolaire. Certains de nos élèves sont intrigués par de nouveaux aliments et deviennent plus aventureux, ce qui est merveilleux à voir, et leurs familles sont reconnaissantes que nous offrons ce service et se sentent rassurées que, quel que soit le contenu du réfrigérateur à la maison, leur enfant ne commencera pas la journée le ventre vide. Nous avons une population croissante d’enfants de travailleur(-euses) étrangers temporaires, qui ont des cultures de petits déjeuners différentes. Nous espérons pouvoir mobiliser ces familles l’année prochaine afin de promouvoir la compréhension et d’élargir les horizons culinaires de nos élèves.

“The breakfast program impacts our school and students in a variety of positive ways. The breakfast program creates a sense of community with our students. Our breakfast program also allows students to start their day with one of their basic needs met. Oftentimes, our students face barriers to having those needs met. Our program allows them to feel safe and cared for. For some students, they've said it is the best part of their day.” 🍎

Last year, with immense support, we raised over $2 million at . This remarkable achievement directly impacts children across the country, helping them start their day with a nutritious breakfast at thousands of school programs. Not only does this fuel their ability to learn and grow, but it also provides access to critical resources like Kids Help Phone ensuring they have the mental health support they need.
